Is there anything else to consider? Yes, copycats or just plain confusion! If you have a good domain name, you may want to consider reserving similar names or the same ones in different domains. Let me pick on LotionLady.com, again. If you try LotionLady.net, .org, .us or Lotion-Lady.com (notice the hyphen?), you'll discover that they all point to LotionLady.com. Sure, there are other domains such as .info, .bus, .tv, etc., but Lotion Lady® has done a reasonable job of protecting itself from copycats and confusion. Continued>>>

- Short
- Descriptive of the site
- In the "dot com" domain, if possible
- Uses a keyword or two
